Sun, August 12, 2007 - 9:56 PMit could be a significant change betwen the ascendnece.. it can also be more deeper diffrences betwen the dwads and the split of the seconds.. -

Re: Twins
Mon, August 13, 2007 - 6:30 AMwell, how dwads effect on personality?
simple, look at the cats for example, the female cat when she is giving birth she shoots 5 of 'em in a matter of few minutes.. those few minutes are crucial, because they will all lead diffrent life, and will have diffrent destinys. they are born wit hdiffrent colors sometimes, and colors in diffrent places.. now how come?
one of them will be more assertive than the others and will take more food, while the others are too weak to fight for thesmlevs..
think about it..

Re: Twins
Mon, August 13, 2007 - 11:31 AMI'm an identical twin. I think there's apt to be at least one planet placement difference in the charts of twins (although I haven't studied them enough to say for sure). And it's whatever those differences are that will influence the chart.
My brother and I have almost identical charts with the exception of Venus in my 6th House and his 7th House. Venus really did make a huge difference in those three minutes, and in a way she brings a slightly stronger focus to the bottom half of the chart for me (I'm more of the physical, Mars-action, athletic one and Mars is in the 5th House). He seems to have a better sense of himself when he connects with the upper half of the chart (i.e., he's the far more intellectual one, and his Venus is closer to Mercury in th 9th). And with Venus in the 7th House for him, he'll be friends with anyone, whereas whith Venus in my 6th I'm more discerning and put a stronger focus on my jobs.
But this isn't to say we're completely different, as we do tend to have so much in common that it's sometimes annoying. But even then, we tend to be drawn towards different aspects of those similar hobbies.
Also, a friend of mine is a twin, and the difference in their charts is two planets moved from her 9th House to his 10th House. He's a total career/stability man while she lives a life of strong spiritual devotion.

Re: Twins
Mon, August 13, 2007 - 6:09 PMI have a neighbor and her twins are 30 minutes apart and another friend whose where 45 minutes apart and even if twins are born three minutes apart it doesn't mean that there isn't a moon or ascendant change taking place or any faster moving planet for that matter can make a difference and like someone said here decants and such.
people can act differently even when born during the same day and time -My nephew dated a girl born within minutes of him in the same hospital . They ended up breaking up after four years .

Re: Twins
Thu, December 13, 2007 - 8:22 PMI see there are a few posts here! The way I understand it is that the twins (especially if they are identical but it even happens when they are fraternal to some degree) have some sort of "telepathy" wherein they divide up the positive and negative expressions of a chart, i.e. one is the good guy, one is the bad guy - and they can switch this if it ever serves them to do so. I believe it, since this can be present heavily in Gemini energy, the sign of the twins! -

Re: Twins
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 6:54 PMthis is a really interesting thread
i wonder if any twins/ or people closely associated with twins
would respond to elvenpaths post because that is a really interesting idea
it seems that in some families you can see that happenig to other degrees just with siblings
as far as deciding who is going to act out which outward roles who is going to choose
the worse expression of themselves and who will go with the brighter happier expression of the energies
but for twins it would seem more of an equal exchange due to so much similarity in the energies they are dealing with?
fascinating idea

Re: Twins
Fri, April 11, 2008 - 2:48 PMWell another thing is that the same qualities in any chart can manifest itself in different ways. For example, say that in two nearly identical charts the theme "perfectionism" and "attention to detail" is strongly highlighted. And yet the two identical twins in question is experienced to be completely different people. One twin could be a highly acclaimed brain surgeon, while the other would devote his full attention to drawing blue-prints while planning a bank-robbery. -

Re: Twins
Sat, April 12, 2008 - 12:26 AMMaybe they subconsciously want to be different. -

Re: Twins
Mon, April 14, 2008 - 2:59 AMYeah that makes sense. We all have a need to be unique in our own way. Perhaps especially so as far as twins go, since they already look just like each other? -

Re: Twins
Mon, April 14, 2008 - 3:50 AMThen some twins act the same, because they value this very special bond, bracing their physical similarities. Though I think wearing same clothes is just over the top, cute when they're kids but not when they've grown up.
