I'm the youngest of six. My eldest sister is a Scorpio, my brother a Virgo.
The rest of my sisters, in descending order are, Scorpio, Pisces, and Virgo.
My brother and I get along fine, but there's definitely differences in outlooks and approaches to life.

My family has a LOT of interesting synastry connections, but even just looking at Sun signs is fun. The bulk of my family fits into a Grand Cross! LOL Aries: Me, my 1st brother, and a male cousin. Cancer: Mom & Dad (born a year and a day apart!), paternal grandmother, uncle. Libra: my youngest brother. Capricorn: Maternal grandmother and grandfather, aunt. The only ones that don't fit in are the other water signs: female cousin - Scorpio and paternal grandfather - Pisces.

Mom and Dad - both Virgos, born same city, same year, three days apart! (This is terrible for synastry with my chart - as it is pretty well a double dose of all the aspects!). Both grandfathers born September 1st, though different years. More Virgos! Both grandmothers born in Taurus (more earth!).

I am the oldest, born in Scorpio. Sister born in Pisces (we don't get along very well. Moon's conjunct in Libra 1 degree apart, and both parents have their Saturns square our Moons! Ouch!). Brother has Sun at 0 Capricorn (more earth). We got along very well when I was younger, but I don't see him much now.

We are a Neptunian family though. Mom, Dad, me - all have Sun conjunct Neptune. Sister and brother have their Neptunes conjucnt my Sun.

My daughters are Taurus and Leo, and my son is a Virgo - born on my Dad's birthday.

I usually got along with my dad; fought constantly with my mom (and still fight sometimes), and my brother is kind of 50-50. I love my dog to pieces, but he can be grouchy sometimes .

As for stories...well, I don't want to get TOO personal, but here goes:

We were never (and still aren't) close to my extended family; my dad is an only child and we don't see my mother's sisters or her brother very much (her sisters due to fam issues; her brother bc he's very shy and keeps to himself). I don't even know how many aunts, uncles, or cousins my mom has on either side or how many my dad has on his dad's side; the only extended family we see is my dad's father's side. I'm OK with that though bc I'm not really a gung-ho family person, though I was close to my grandmother when she was alive (other than her, though, I'm not really into blood ties). No one else in the family believes in astrology, but everyone in the family has some sort of belief (my mom and I lean toward the unexplained; my dad and my brother are very Catholic; I'm agnostic). My dad was always more sensitive than my mom; she's not really sensitive at all and is very rarely serious when she needs to be; I, in constrast, am mostly a serious person, so we kind of irritate each other. My mom is something of an antagonist at times, but is very nice to people outside of the family. She is brutally honest at all times whether you want her opinion or not and, while honesty is refreshing, I'm pretty sensitive so I get hurt a lot by that. She's always been more like an older sister/big kid at heart than a mother-type of person. She's not very sentimental but I am (though I'm also unconventional at the same time if that makes any sense). My dad is very happy-go-lucky usually and is very honest and fair; he's also like a big kid sometimes. I could usually suck up or talk my way out of a punishment with them when I was little. My dad, my mom, and I all share a habit (good or bad--you be the judge) of being candid at times (though at other times I'm very secretive). I also got yelled at a lot for not being neat; I'm very organized but not a neat freak. Hope that wasn't too personal and that what I typed was somewhat what you were looking for; sorry so long!

I am a taurus and grew up in a house of cancers. (Mom dad sis) There was a lot of feelings and crying...lots o love also. My parents are almost smothering with their affection. But my mom has a VIRGO MOON! Very scary at times!

me and my sisters and brothers get along fairly well.... though they dont really take things as seriously as me...only certain things..i guess thats normal tho......me and my little saggitarian sis used 2 b the best of friends until i went through a really dark 2 year depression,, but thats a long story

me and my mom dont get along at all...we believe in totally different things...she ties herself down 2 things, and brings us down with her,,instead of seeing wat is really important in life....she is also spitefull and holds grudges which i hate!!!! ill be really pissed for a second and thenget over it a second later but with her shes alwayspicking and picking and wont let anything go

my dad used 2 be very dogmatic and demanding very much like the negative side of leo...always seeking attention...hes changed a little tho,, i get along much more with him than my mom.....mostly because i listen 2 what he has 2 say..i listen 2 his problems

when i was younger i wasnt AT ALL like a capricorn...id say i was like a leo.... i was optomistic,,outgoing, a daredevil, extrovert,, i deffinately wasnt a perfectionistic organizer..or a very serious........everyone in my whole family and in my gymnastics and skool knew me as the funny friendly girl.....
then all of a sudden everything changed....its like my capricorn side activated...i became serious about everything..i turned completely capricorn (in the bad sort of way) my whole perspective on life changed... i became pessimistic
lol its like my depression became all the negative traits of my sun and moon sign...its really weird

I don't get along with me mum. very tense relationship. generally not very close to my family. my 3 sisters are very close to each other. my dad is very very quiet. my mum has a mean and violent streak. they don't talk nor even share the same room but they refuse to divorce. personally, it's a family i can do without. i've since built my own family beyond and more harmonious and supportive than the one i was born into.

It's plain to see that I'm the odd man out.."giggles".Well,I must say it wasn't easy being all "Mutable" in a family of "fixedly cardinal" ppl.On the other hand,I was always "special"...with all the good and bad that it implies.

Despite the apparent incompatibility,my parents have been married for 33 years,and have always stayed a "team".Might've had smth to do with them being classmates from the 6th to the 12th grade.My father still affectionately recalls how my mother used to beat him up in the 7th grade,and how he almost drowned trying to get her a water lily,during a high school trip...

I know that most ppl see their families as weird,one way or another...But I think mine is just a bit weirder than the average weird.
Despite having a pretty united family,the way I've always seen it is this:in my childhood,I've had 3 mothers(my mother,my sister,and my aunt),a teacher(my father) and an older brother(my mother's brother).I've tried to understand if the way I've perceived my family in my infancy has something to do with Neptune or Uranus residing in my 4th house.But,after careful reasoning I've realized that it wasn't an illusion.
The major influence of my life has been my sister-despite the fact that she left home when I was 9-and I suspect it has something to do with Pluto or Pars Fortuna,both residing in my 3rd house,the house of siblings,among others..

If I would try to "label" them,I'd say my mother was the "iron fist in velvet glove" type,my father was something between the mad scientist and the misunderstood artist,and my sister was the "friendly boss" of my childhood..and still is now,for her co-workers.And I suppose they're all pretty true to their astrological makeup.And so am I,of course."grin"

Mother was flakey or unemotional. Father, alcoholic. Sister was a bully and clingy growing up, but also had her nuturing side. Brother secretive and untrustworthy although could be funny. Me, mostly introverted, creative(parents didn't help w/all their drama).
